Heat Sealing Beta or Biothane

I heat seal all edges and holes on the tack manufactured by Canadian Trail House

If you have biothane or beta that is not heat sealed you can do it yourself.

The easiest way is to buy a cheap sautering iron with the point tip. (Walmart under $10)

Make sure you do this in a well ventilated place. The fumes will make you very sick. Do not breath this stuff in!!!!!

For holes just insert the tip and give it a turn. Do make make the holes bigger just put it in as far as it will fit.

The tube on the iron will get hot enough to seal the ends.

Lay the end against the hot tube to form a bead then roll the bead over the end of the strap to cover the webbing.

A hot knife will also work on the ends.

If you don't want to buy an iron heat a nail and seal the holes . Use a hot knife for ends.
